DEUS Scheduling

DEUS Scheduling summary

The Deus Scheduling feature is used for scheduling the Key Value for the wanted DEUS key. This means that the new key value will change accordingly at the specified time. The time is based on the player’s local time on the channel.

How to setup DEUS Schedule for selected key channels

After the DEUS key is created and published to the player, you can setup a time for the new value to start playing on the player. Open Deus Keys entity and from the list select the wanted channel you want to change the key value. (NOTE: when selecting the image key and text key at once, the ‘Setup Schedule’ option will be removed from the left menu)

When selecting the channel, from the left menu you can notice the option ‘Setup Schedule’.

With clicking of the option, the pop-up window will be shown.

Text Key View

If the selected DEUS key is a text key, the pop-up window will contain two fields, one for setting up the Start time (with date picker) and the other for changing the key value.

If the selected DEUS key is an image key, the pop-up window will contain one field for setting up the Start time (with date picker) and the ‘Upload’ button. By clicking on the button, the user can upload the wanted image.

From here, you can change the key value to be executed at a specific time. For example:

View Schedules

Open the Deus Key Entity, and from the left menu the ‘View Schedules’ option will be shown. In this section, all history for setting the DEUS schedule will be shown with all the information (Data Value, Start Date time). You may sort by the name or start time.

Removing DEUS Schedule

Removing DEUS Schedule can be done through ‘View Deus Schedules’. From list, select the wanted schedule you want to remove and click on ‘Remove Deus Schedule’ button. The DEUS schedule will be removed and will not be executed.

Deus Scheduling via CSV import

Deus scheduling can be also done through import of CSV file. Open Deus Keys entity, click on ‘Upload’ button and insert the CSV file. Here is an example of content of the CSV file. The Scheduling is taken from the 4th column 'Start time' with format: dd/MM/yyyy hh:mm If no value specified for ‘Start time’, the value is updated immediately

For the image key, the value should be the file ID which can be found in the media preview. And the media file should already exist in either a media library or a playlist.

After import, a message shows the outcome with details of invalid keys or channels if any.
